turnovers against Utah during the losing streak? I doubt that very much. Same could be said for not converting the two-point conversion in 2016, missing those field goals at the end of the 2012 game, etc. Jamaal Williams having to leave two different rivalry games due to injuries still happens. I doubt being in the MWC would have made BYU deeper last year and thus able to compensate for the many injuries before/during the Utah game.
