I've been on more than one safari where animals have been aggravated
by tourists and animals have charged vehicles. Getting a vehicle with a lot of windows (with a roof) is sufficient for safety and pictures.

Rhino charges at safari tourists. I didn't know Rhinos could keep up the chase over a long distance.
