Maybe they don't like you that much.
😉
We try to be consistent, especially on weekdays, but exceptions are certainly made.

How strict are you on bed times with your kids?

Not strict at all. Life happens and every night there are different things going on.

BTW, HCBW lost this battle years ago.

Get them in bed so parents can do what they want at night, right?

That’s why I have a hot tub.

We were Nazis with our first - always in bed by 8:00 (when he was 8). Now

Extremely strict. It makes or breaks the entire next day if my kids don't go to bed on time

Occasionally my kids will stay up late, but we are pretty strict with 8pm for the 4 and 7 year old and 9 for the 9 year

9pm for our 9 and 4 year olds

They get to sleep when homework is done. Sometimes that's 9pm, other times 2am

Letting your kids decide when to go to bed is a great lesson for teaching

I know some kids that can't handle life if they don't get enough sleep

Depends on the day and the time of year.

Depends on the circumstances.

It depends on the time of year. In the summer they can get away with 9 or 9:30.

My kids are 6 and 3. We are very strict with bed time partially because we both work and they have to wake up early

I’m very loose on all of those things; it clearly impacts kids

10 and 8...They go to bed at 9...hopefully they sleep by 11

Not very. Technically, they have bedtimes. The 5-year-olds are pretty good, and

Pretty strict. We only let them stay up occasionally i.e. 4th of July fireworks

I would say moderately strict. It’s hard to get my 7 year old up for daycare in
KingDave

I can’t get my kids to sleep more than 8 hours. They don’t nap either. 3yo and a 8-month old.

Not at all. My 27 year old stays up late, my 24 year old sleeps whenever she can since the baby came. My son stays up

I’m a believer that an early consistent bedtime helps kids in school
