We have friends that will leave at the drop of a hat when it's bed time for their kids. Drives me nuts. Either them or their kids will be having a great time, but that's not enough of a motivator and they act like the world is ending if their kids aren't in bed by 8.

Example 1: Friends we haven't seen for a few years complain about us not hanging out with them anymore, but refuse to do anything after 7 because their kids have to go to bed, including weekends.

Example 2: Ward friends that leave group date/game night (once a month) to put their kid to bed at 8, regardless of the fun they're having at said game night.
