Depends on the day and the time of year.

During the school year, tell them that if they're in bed by 8 they can watch a movie in their room. This is usually a good motivator if we're home not doing anything. During the summer we put them to bed when we're tired of dealing w/ them and don't really want to be around them

Occasionally my kids will stay up late, but we are pretty strict with 8pm for the 4 and 7 year old and 9 for the 9 year
