For some reason I do better when I do cardio in the am if I do it on an empty stomach and then outside some water, I can easily skip breakfast and make it to lunch
But if I lift in AM I need food/protein shake after so I can’t do the whole intermittent fasting
Almost everything works if u Work out and eat reasonably and stick with it
And imo (and for me) for weight loss.. diet is 80-90% of the battle
