Rock. buy once. Mulch = every few years.

We just did literally tons of different rocks instead of mulch. Never fades.

Mulch looks way better than rock. Rock looks trashy. But the maintenance on mulch is way higher/more/costly etc

Not true we used black lava rock and it looks wonderful

we did lava rock and we love it. Mulch was too much maintenance.
