We are looking at doing it as well. There are several RV rental sites to rent

one from private parties and they are a lot cheaper and have better selection than the companies. Several had unlimited miles.

I looked into it once...didn't want to pay $300 a day for it.

If you’re looking for a fairly local it could work. Most rentals have a 100 mile

Cheaper to stay at a nice motel. They are difficult to drive. And smelly.
