I mean, between hotel and rental car at your destination, can’t beat $300 a day
Although an RV trip sounds like a dang nightmare so I wouldn’t consider it, even cost aside.

If you’re looking for a fairly local it could work. Most rentals have a 100 mile

Cheaper to stay at a nice motel. They are difficult to drive. And smelly.
