Is that 125K guaranteed minimum + a % of collections? Or a flat salary?
Backing into it, a lot of new general dentists get 30-35% of collections. So at 125K that would assume less than 400K of 1st year adjusted (after PPO or Medicare adjustments) production, which isnt that much.

If the owner is unsure about the ability of the practice to support a new dentist with enough patients and wants to be cautious then 125K would make sense as a lower range base.
