I think you should read my hypothetical above and then get back to me about how he's supposed to be different? What bothers me the most is that I get a lot of communication here and outside the site that people with corporate placement and communication skills see what I speak of right away or just after watching a few of his segments. They agree with me, he's a terrible projection of the power and product lines for BYU. It's ok also to disagree with me. I am simply telling you what other professionals and journalists say outside this pillow-talk board.
I also think he deserves a LOT of credit. He produces the show and its really well done. JJ has talent. But I just think he's better behind the camera than in front of it. His Dennis Pitta shtick is terrible, old, disrespectful to one of BYU's greatest players ever. Clearly I think we can all see something happened there at a pivotal point in time that soured their relationship. its really unfortunate, but a professional would have let it go, and if at fault for whatever the rift, would have apologized, not continued the pathetic beat down at the end of every show.
