Kellogg hires you to be a public voice and image of your brand.
Daily you go out and on one hand you say, our brand is nutritious and fun, but...
It will never be as good or taste as good as General Mills products. General Mills cereals belong on the tables of blue bloods, but we have a good little niche in the block house tracts too.
How long does Kellogg keep that spokesperson employed. JJ puts BYU down daily. He is not there for total realism or his version of realism. He constantly undercuts the coaches and recruiting staff by saying publicly anything similar to, "BYU will never be Notre Dame" or "BYU is not the Notre Dame of the west," (SI coined that two+ decades ago). Holy crap any 1st year marketing and communications major knows this.
