My dad spoke to Chad Lewis that week in 2016 when BYU was supposed to be

admitted into the Big 12. Chad told him it was for sure happening, or something to that effect. Everyone within the athletic department was very confident BYU was about to be invited.

Too bad they didn’t, but now the Big 12 is scrambling so…maybe they should have.
