but these are legacy recruits, they had relatives that played for byu. BYU should not be losing so many to other programs. Also, it's not as if BYU is a bad school academically and they did just get P5 status granted that isnt official for 2 more years. Point is people need to quit getting all bent out of shape at a former coach who is just doing his job.
Kalani is said to be a great recruiter and he knew the restrictions he was facing when he took the job so at the end of the day it's his and his staff job to get more of these recruits to come to byu.
Don't get me wrong, I like the direction that byu football is headed and Kalani has done a much better job the past 2 seasons. However to put blame on other coaching staffs for losing recruits comes acrossed as a bit petty imo
