Losing recruits to UVA is more like losing recruits to Stanford than Utah.
Stanford is probably the best FBS school in the country in terms of academics and job opportunities.
UVA is also an excellent school and probably a top 10 school academically in FBS.
And although Stanford had had its football moments, the draw to both schools is that the institutions themselves are excellent.
Utah is not a top FBS program academically and is probably closer to the bottom than the top of P5 schools. Losing recruits to Utah is certainly not because of academics or job opportunities.
