Nah. Listing price gives a sense for what you might sell it for so buyers know
whether they should even consider the house. It’s all a negotiation and everybody knows that.

Just as the seller might learn that they need a higher price in order to part with the house, a buyer might learn (in an inspection, or whatever) that they aren’t willing to pay quite as much as their earlier offer.
