Most of my peers didn’t have 3 kids upon completing undergrad
According to BYU’s website the median starting salary of masters of accountancy students was $58k for the class of ‘21.
New teachers with a bachelors degree started at $42k in Alpine School District for 180 schools days. Teachers receive full-year of health insurance and retirement benefits.
1st year teachers get 3 weeks of paid time off and are also eligible to receive an additional week of fully-paid time off if they pay $60 per incremental day off.
The pay per working day seems very comparable.
