30 carries is plenty to figure out if you can effectively run the ball against your opponent.
The results this year against P5 competition were below average, particularly when you take into account the talent on the OL.

Not really. We averaged 30 carries for 141 yds (4.6 yds/carry) against P5 competition. Not sub-par.

Brooks ran the ball fine, and he only got 10 carries. The offense was not the problem in the Ark game.

Less than 4 yards/carry against the #104 ranked rushing D is an above average performance. You set the bar really low.

Nothing wrong with those numbers. Baylor and Oregon were just better teams with better DLs.
