I don't know enough about "technique" to know if it dropped off or not.

But I know enough about football to know that BYU was pretty disappointing in the run game most of the season and often struggled to get any push - even against DL's that they outweighed by 50 lbs.

Whatever it was - technique, strength training, or just lack of desire - I hope they get something figured out before next season.

For those that want a new OL coach, I really doubt that is happening. Funk is all over the recruiting trail right now…

Not really. We averaged 30 carries for 141 yds (4.6 yds/carry) against P5 competition. Not sub-par.

30 carries is plenty to figure out if you can effectively run the ball against your opponent.

Brooks ran the ball fine, and he only got 10 carries. The offense was not the problem in the Ark game.

Less than 4 yards/carry against the #104 ranked rushing D is an above average performance. You set the bar really low.

Nothing wrong with those numbers. Baylor and Oregon were just better teams with better DLs.

I'm curious where you are seeing an OL grade on PFF. I see a RB Blocking grade but that takes everyone into account
