Forcing everyone back into the office with unlimited PTO as the "reward" isn't
the carrot you think it is.
Companies are switching to unlimited PTO because they have found that employees take fewer days off, and then employees can't cash out their vacation days when they quit. It's a win/win for companies, and mostly a losing situation for employees.
