I realize there's a bit of a cult of Sanderson here, and I'm not saying the article's author was nice. He wasn't nice. But I also didn't get the impression he was trying to be mean either. Sometimes you toss around a term like "weirdo" and you mean it glibly. This isn't a child name calling another child, he's referring to an author who lives a very insulated life with his tens of millions of dollars in his uber-geeky set up. I think Sanderson is right telling fans to just shrug it off and move on. Sanderson met with the guy for days. Maybe he knows something we don't. Either way, this is not a big deal
