Yes, you need to repair/replace the wiring that now has damaged insulation. The potential for a short circuit causing heat/sparks now exists, and you should rectify it.




Incorrect answer: pretty good odds that it will never, ever be an issue, especially in a relatively non-combustible cinder block wall.
