...the electrical wire runs below the drain pipe for the kitchen sink, so if there was ever a water leak, that's probably not a good place to have a non-insulated electrical wire. In my heart I knew that I almost certainly need to replace the wire, but it will be a huge pain in the behind and delay installation of our new cabinets for a week, so I was fishing for somebody to enable my laziness 😉
