cougarmeister How does this work?
Question for electrical wiring / construction dudes
So yesterday while patching a big hole in my cinder block & plaster wall with new concrete/mortar, I was attaching some screws & bailing wire to the cinder blocks as anchors for the new mortar (so that it would have something to grab onto and hopefully not fall out of the wall), and while I was squishing the mortar into the hole, I happened to simultaneously touch one of my support wires and a nearby pipe and got zapped with electricity.

After I finished saying bad words, I took out screws one-by-one until the remaining support wires were not electrified, and then since it was 1:00 AM and I needed to have that hole patched by today because a contractor is coming to do some other work in that area, I just tested the nearby outlets (everything worked fine) and then finished my concrete patch, but now I’m having second thoughts about the wisdom & safety of that course of action.

Thoughts on whether I need to rip out that whole wall and replace that punctured electrical wire? Or since everything works and the wire is encased in concrete, should I be OK safety-wise?
