Bronco's defense was creative and fun to be a part of, even if he was always after you for dogging it on plays. He demanded the most anyone could give . . . and often got it.
Kalani is kicking back, bro-hugging, and coddling the defense while attacking, be-rating, and belittling the offense.
Yes, the offense is worse but football is a team game. How many times over the years did the BYU offense bale out the defense? How many times did you hear Lavell, Crowton or even Bronco (who knew a thing or two about defense) completely go after the defense for losing the game?
No head coach has been this divisive in 40+ years. I don't get why he is doing it. I just can't understand it.
