...talking about after all. Thanks for clearing that up. We'll all know not to listen to his opinion anymore. He had some nutty idea that the ball was underthrown (we all know Tanner never underthrows his WR's) and according to what Grimes says, Romney had to slow and wait on the ball which gave the defender just enough of an opportunity to get a hand in there and make a good play on the ball. He said it was a good play by the defense to break it up. To keep things fair and balanced he said Gunner "could've" caught it (not "should have") but that it was not a good throw by Tanner.
Grimes said there's plenty of blame to go around but didn't absolve Tanner. Recognized he's made some good throws but that he's also made bad throws, made bad reads, missed open receivers, etc.
