You've got to find a warm-up routine that works for you. Whether that is a few minutes on a treadmill or
stair stepper or some dynamic warmups. You could use a foam roller as well if there are certain muscles that need to loosen up.

I do need a little caffeine and then I do a dynamic warm-up that is focussed on what I am working on that specific day at the gym. I do this for maybe 5-10 minutes and then feel good to go.
