Orlando theme parks universal vs disney or both
We are doing an orlando trip in October with 4 kids under 10 years old. We have six available days to play with.

Universal has a deal where if you buy 2 days you get 3 extra days. This seems the most cost effective way to spend the entire trip. We can get both universal studios and islands of adventure and their volcano bay water park and spend multiple days just going back to those parks. About 1200 to 1300 bucks for admission for all of us for 5-6 days.

Disney looks more expensive. I wanted to see star wars galaxys edge at the hollywood studios park, and i'm intrigued by the wild animal park. I also love the disneyland park and epcot but i dont think those ones are in the cards in terms of our priority. But just doing one day at either of these parks is just a straight 600 bucks for our family. So if we add 2 disney parks we add 1200 bucks which essentially doubles the cost of what we pay for admission on this trip.

Were probably going to do orlando only once as an entire family so i feel obligated to just do both disney and universal to check those off the list and not feel like we left something on the table and feel like we would want or need to go back. We have family in southern california so we can always pick up disney experiences there so we kind of want to prioritize the stuff that is unique to orlando. In that sense the star wars stuff can wait and the smarter part of me is telling me that the crowds will negate any enjoyment of that park for a while, but part of me wants to be among the first wave of people to see it while its new. My son listed disneys wild animal park as the one he seemed most excited about. But we've done zoos and drive through animal farms several times.

Should i just pass on the disney hollywood studios and and the wild animal park and cut my cost for tickets in half? Or do you think they are must sees and maybe need to be prioritized over universal? We are fans of the harry potter stuff.
