2000: Staley, McDonald, Whalen. 2006: Brown, Vakapuna, Unga.
When healthy, this group was great. Marcus Whalen's potential even as a freshman was obvious. I don't think I need to elaborate on either of the others.
Curtis Brown became the career rushing leader, but his record would quickly be broken by another back on the roster Harvey Unga, who unfortunately didn't stay healthy that year. This was Vakapuna's best season. Had a nose for the end zone and infused energy to the team with his play.
