BJJ is grappling and submissions. Many traditional gyms don't even allow
strikes. Striking while standing is the world of boxing and muay Thai among others.

Striking isn’t boxing. Muay Thai is part boxing, being methodical. Karate just sucks. If you want striking, go with BJJ.
