I know that. But you don’t jump right into the submissions. If you can, great. But you have to have a strike game in
order to be effective otherwise your opponent will stay at strike distance and attrit you. I definitely would. If you can’t hurt the other guy up, it’s going to be difficult to close the gap.

Striking isn’t boxing. Muay Thai is part boxing, being methodical. Karate just sucks. If you want striking, go with BJJ.
