completely overlooked their FCS opponent. Georgia State is not nor are they expected to be a good team even at the FCS level.
It takes a lot of issues for a P5 team to lose to a bad FCS team, a lot more than simply focus and readiness. Certainly a lot more issues than can be fixed in a week.
Now, for all the hurt that Tennessee is in, they at least get to face a BYU team that displayed some very questionable game planning by their coaches last week. Sometimes that can be fixed in a week, but this is a coaching staff that thought 3-man fronts and not feeding Ty'son were good ideas.
This all rests on the BYU coaching staff. A decent game plan beats Tennessee. A crappy one and who knows. Both teams are in bad shape.
