You said "pretty much all the US Media". This is simply false. there were
numerous articles in The Economist (which I read religiously) and many other publications, and commentary on many news networks.
If your point is that the media wasn't united on this point and that some outside right-wing media also discounted and downplayed the virus, then I agree. I have made this point too, in other posts.
