And taken way out of context. The media has been in a total panic and promoting mass hysteria.

That is leading to hoarding of medical supplies and drugs. Hospitals turning away testing new cases or turning away sick people as they await the deluge of millions of ill patients that haven’t come.

In the meantime, the president has to show confidence and optimism. If not, the mass hysteria will lead to even worse problems while the markets would crash and cripple the economy.

Trump has managed this balance fairly well.

In his miracle quote, he talks about the pandemic likely getting worse before it gets better. But said one day this will go away.

He’s right. The free market will have vaccines, effective treatments and rampant testing before long.

In places like California where the governor predicted 25 million new cases and hundreds of thousands of deaths, with less than 10,000 cases and so few deaths — in the country‘s most populous state and most vulnerable to the Chinese outbreak come — is a miracle.

The mistake the left is making by taking his quotes out of context and trying to make it seem like he doesn’t care, doesn’t jive with the actions he’s taking in the last couple days for the last few weeks. Or his sober speech earlier this week.

That’s part of why his numbers and approval ratings are going up. People losing faith in the inconsistent and biased media.

I’m not a huge Trump guy, but I got to admit, he’s been a lot more accurate than the media.
