Rookies. Elgin Baylor was ROY. Penny Hardaway and Derrick Rose were elite from the beginning of their careers and had their careers ended due to injury. Not to mention guys that weren't named like Steve Nash, Scottie Pippen, David Robinson, Dr. J. Other high school players like T-Mac, KG, and Dwight Howard.
And that's just the super elite; never-mind other really good guys who were all stars, DPOYs, and/or key players on multiple championship dynasties like Elvin Hayes, Ben Wallace, Dennis Rodman, Maurice Cheeks, Dennis Johnson, Robert Parish, Shawn Marion, Nate Archibald, Bob Lanier, and Artis Gilmore.
But, yeah only a fistful of guys who didn't play in major conferences make it in the NBA, those who do weren't actually prepared, and anyone who thinks otherwise only started watching the NBA recently. Possibly the worst basketball take in the history of CB.
