Reports out of camp are that they played mostly 4-3 but I think a 4-2-5 isn’t terrible because Chaz and Max Tooley are moving to safety and would be great as the 5th dB along with Malik Moore(I think is who played mostly buckle last year). It’s true that they are listed as LBs but they fit perfectly as a 5th DB or flash backer which are essentially the same in our scheme. Ive heard the 5th DB will spend a good amount of time at the line of scrimmage. In my opinion it’s very surface level to say that moving to 2 LBs is a bad idea because we have lots of LBs. The plan is 4 linemen to get to the QB and the 3rd LB or 5th DB to ply essentially the same position. Is mostly semantics
