OU /Switzer declined to play BYU in kickoff classic the following season.
Ole Barry shot his mouth off after 84 season but declined an offer to BYU in 85 kickoff classic paraphrasing ; we play a tough enough schedule as it is. BYU was still a unique and very formidable offense at the time,(whoa i feel old ) and OU defenses were terrible against good passing teams like Stanford, Miami ,
