Joel Klatt reported that Sark had a handshake agreement to replace
Saban at Alabama, but decided to forego the opportunity in order to take the Texas job, supposedly to not deal with the pressure of replacing a legend.

Saban turns 70 this year & is likely down to his last few seasons; at this point it won’t be Dabo, maybe Bill O’Brien (who is replacing Sark as OC)? Or maybe Kirby Smart decides to come back. It’ll be interesting to see who it is, and what type of impact a coaching change will have on the program.
