A lot of UGA fans are putting Kirby Smart on the hot seat next season... most look at how poorly he managed the QB room (he should've had Fields this year instead of noodle arm Bennett... bless his walk-on heart) and how much his #1/2 classes have underperformed and are pretty unhappy.

In terms of fan bases, Alabama might have a slight edge, but UGA's foundation is amazing and the university/state itself is undeniably higher caliber.

You're also spot on about Tuscaloosa versus Athens. North Georgia is beautiful and the proximity to Atlanta makes it a fun place to be. Add in that Kirby was a defensive legend there and it's tough to see him bolting for the same pay at Alabama.
