a close friend is one thing, saying it to a stranger is another. Hence flying out and apologizing. It wasn't about keeping him being "a racist secret".

Again, I think it was stupid. I don't think he should EVER use the word. I don't condone it. I just don't think he is a racist. Thats the only argument i'm making. Agree to disagree.
