Coming in w/ a full share would reduce share of existing members. 1/4 share
while OU and UT are there, and 1/2 when they are gone, keeps existing members at same share leading up to new TV deal.

I imagine the 4 new schools begin the Big-12 with a fractional revenue share.

Why would that be?

That’s how it has been done in the past.

Hasn't that been only when new teams come in on an old contract? I assume once

No. Utah was coming in on a new contract, and only got a fractional share.

Possibly. Its been the case every time a lower level conference team promoted.

Good thing BYU doesn’t belong to a conference.

Agree, but some have longer ramp up due to needing assistance in their buy outs

I think it took Nebraska something like 6 years to get a full share in B10.

Guess that depends on when a new contract is negotiated and when we come in

There has been unequal shares so far with OU/TX getting more

BYU should come in at better terms than the AAC teams
