were "atrocious" and "concerning" on Defense. So, do we believe the "real BYU" is the 6 halves of great defensive football or the 2 halves of bad defensive football (although, I would argue it was more "strategic" defensive football)?
I think it was great that so many 2nd/3rd/4th string guys got some action b/c we are going to NEED them to perform at some point this season and I'd rather have the mistakes come in a game we were up by 3 scores in than a tight one.
I would to see/say the same thing for the RBs. How have we not found a way to get ONE carry to 3rd/4th string RBs??? Heck, they haven't even been IN the game for one play yet. We couldn't even trot out McChesney or Ropati in a pass blocking situation? Probabilities suggest that Allgeier or Katoa will go out with an injury at some point, even if it's just for a series. Nothing replaces game experience. Nothing.
