RE: With how beat up we are, the easier the opponent the better the season will
So this is what some of our fans think? Let’s play the lesser bowl opponent so we look good in our bowl game? Sorry, but I want this 10-2 football team to play the best opponent possible, injuries be darned.
Even if we played a better team than say, UTSA and lost, I’d rather see a true barometer of where this program is at as opposed to beating up on an average team and then pounding our chest’s about it.

It's not our decision on whether to opt out, but that option is a possibility. Would depend on ESPN and the bowls
