How much do you love your employer? If you could take the exact same job, perhaps with even fewer sticking points, and
get paid 3x as much for it but you have to move your family, would you do it? OR would you say "meh, I make enough right now." If that's you, good for you. 99.9% of people would make the move. Especially if they were 45 or they worked in a volatile field where 5 or 10 years from now they may not have a job.
I mean, you can love your job and stuff. But at the end of the day you work to make a living. And when you work in an uncertain line of work, you make that living when you can.
