It depends a lot on what he values most and someone that makes $3million/yr has the luxury of valuing a bunch of other things over money. I make a 10th of that and am at the point where 3x, while really nice, may not be enough to make me move. Now, give me that 3x and let me stay and work remotely, and I’d do it in a heartbeat. But I’m comfortable, my parents live close, my in-laws are moving nearby, I hate moving, etc.

All that said, I hope BYU does whatever it can to keep him.
