My company has completely revised our work structure during COVID--calling the new model "Workplace Next". I haven't worked in the office for 22 months, but word is that we are to begin our new hybrid working model next month. Basically you are required to be in the office 20% of the time (1 day/week at a minimum). If you want to go in more often, then you are free to do so. I plan on working a few days in the office each week, and realize that there might be stretches where I go in every day for a week or two. I also might have periods where I only go in once that week. I've grown very comfortable working from home, but I deal with the very same issues that you mentioned. Hopefully being around people again will help to re-invigorate my work.
