My biggest surprise is how noisy it gets at our house on a hot summer day. We
have a pool and our house becomes the hang-out spot. And some of my kids (and certain of their friends, to an even greater extent) cannot do anything without screaming at the very top of their lungs.
On those days, I start building my reputation as a scary dad.
