I grew up in a small town, and I've grown weary of living in highly populated areas for the past 20+ years, and the associated problems that come with that. With the growing hybrid/work from home job market, it's beginning to look a lot more like there will be opportunities to work remotely from pretty much wherever you want (as long as you have the internet).

We've been living in California for the past 11+ years, and can't wait to get out. I have a son that is a senior this year, and is then heading on a mission at the end of the summer. I have a second son that is a currently a sophomore. As soon as my second son graduates, we want to get out of here. My youngest will be heading into HS at that point, so it would be a perfect time to leave.
