we ran a lot of RPO in 2019 with Zach and wasn't super successful with it. It often appeared ZW called his own number too often and they didn't seem to be productive plays. He also got hurt frequently, missed several games and was limited in other games due to being dinged up.
In 2020 it appeared we called less RPO and it seemed ZW ran less often between the 20's and used his running situationally to great affect, like in the red zone when opposing teams tried to bring pressure. As a result we were better at finishing drives in the end zone and ZW was able to avoid the string of injuries that hampered him the year before. He ran a little less and our offense was the better for it.
