Don't get me wrong, I think Pope et al. have been great recruiters, but I'm not sure these are the slam dunks the OP suggests. They were solid pickups, but Fouss was a desirable recruit and there were reasons the others were overlooked.

More impressive to me is picking up Barcello from the Arizona bench and turning him into a bona fide star.
